This week we return to 1968 and the continuation of the first Mangog story! Thor is really rude to a nurse (but who can blame him?), Balder fights Karnilla's old boyfriends, we see a billion billion examples of exaggeration, and the Mangog *really* wants to unsheath Odin's sword!! -- ooooh my!

The Silver-Age adventures continue in Thor #154! When the going gets tough, Odin... er...takes a nap! Thor stops the Rat Pack from mugging some guy, and then he lectures some hippies!! Hela shows up to fill a couple of pages, and then we get the first appearance of the Mangog!! Nuff said!

After two weeks of sturm and drang, it's time to have a little fun, Silver Age style! And we do that by looking at Thor #153 (June 1968), a Lee/Kirby classic that pits Thor in a knock-down drag-out with the insidious Loki on the streets of NYC! We see Irish cops! Sif has surgery! Karnilla macks on Balder! Odin wears his most cumbersome hat to date! And Ulik just falls down a hole.
