This week we look at Thor v.2 #39 - With Surtur's threat mounting, and Thor temporarily out of action, who will step up to defend Midgard? This issue has golden showers, Odin's scepter, and the usual assortment of supporting cast, plus a couple we've never met before!

This week we're looking at the 2001 Thor Annual, featuring Durok the Destro....Gorr the God Butc....er...Desak the God Killer! Anyway, he's a guy who hates Gods and he's drawn by Tom Grummett, so at least he looks good! Also starring Beta Ray Bill and Hercules!

This week it's Thor v2 #38! This issue features Gay Pride Thor, Odin waving his "sceptre" around in public, great art by Stuart Immonen, and the Watcher getting a swelled head!

This week we look at Thor v2 #37, featuring guest artist Jim Starlin! It's an all-battle issue as Thor takes on the Tarene-infused Destroyer, while Odin chats with the Watcher, and Marnot shows up for a few panels! Plus, a sea captain burns up! Nuff said!
